Epson Launches First Compact A4 UV Flatbed Printer for the Promotional Goods Market
Epson introduces the SC-V1000 – its first small-format A4 UV flatbed printer, specifically designed for the production of promotional and personalized goods. It is a compact, reliable, and cost-effective solution for small businesses looking to print high-quality images on a variety of rigid surfaces.
The SC-V1000 allows direct printing on a wide range of materials up to 70 mm thick. These include acrylic, polycarbonate, PVC, aluminium, metal, polyester, foam board, styrene, wood, and even stone. This makes the device ideal for creating promotional souvenirs, gifts, informational signs, and customized products.
The printer uses advanced Epson SureColor technology and an integrated 6-colour ink system (CMYK, white, and varnish), which ensures vibrant colours, high detail, and extensive design possibilities. The use of white and varnish inks allows for exceptional visual effects and high print quality even on dark or transparent surfaces.
With its extremely compact dimensions (699 × 699 mm), the SC-V1000 can be easily placed on a standard desk. Since no additional space is required at the back, the printer can be placed against a wall or in a corner – which is especially convenient in limited workspaces.
The SC-V1000 is designed to be easy to use and maintain. The automatic cleaning system is controlled via a clear touchscreen, eliminating the need for manual maintenance. The replaceable ink pack system allows for quick and convenient ink replenishment, while the integrated air filtration and odour reduction system ensures a comfortable working environment.
The printer supports USB and Wi-Fi connectivity, comes with Epson Edge Print RIP software, is compatible with the Epson PORT platform, and includes a 3-year warranty, providing additional security and peace of mind.
