The RICOH Pro VC80000 is a new generation high-speed inkjet printing system designed for the future of commercial printing. Print production is rapidly changing, and Ricoh always starts with a vision – what solutions your business will need tomorrow. The result of this vision and close collaboration with clients is advanced co-creation, which allowed for the development of a highly efficient and reliable solution.
The system, supported by artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, ensures flawless printing results with minimal operator intervention. Despite its compact design – the length of the duplex printing engine is less than nine meters – advanced, liquid-cooled Ricoh printheads provide a resolution of up to 1200 dpi and a printing speed of up to 150 meters per minute.
The Pro VC80000 boasts exceptional quality and durability, required for even the most demanding jobs – from vibrant commercial prints and direct mail to books and publications. The system supports a wide range of coated and uncoated offset and inkjet papers – from 40 to 250 g/m², and with the optional Heavy Paper Kit – even up to 300 g/m². This allows for the creation of various high-value print products.
The optional undercoater improves printing results on offset papers, while the 584 mm paper width provides great layout flexibility and is ideal for popular book formats, photo books, and other publications.
The entire production line is designed to be as operator-friendly and easy to manage as possible. Automatic paper calibration allows for quick preparation of new materials and saving settings for reuse. Manual interventions are minimized – front and back registration, density compensation, and uniformity correction are performed automatically.
The used 200 kg ink tanks significantly reduce the number of ink changes. Advanced integrated finishing control with bidirectional communication between the press and finishing devices allows for optimizing the speed of the entire production line, and the Slow Mode function ensures precise finishing adjustments.
This is a true alternative to offset printing, seamlessly combining the flexibility of digital printing with an attractive price, high image quality, and industrial-level speed.
